With 11 wins and other 7 nominations The Notebook was one of the biggest name on the 2004 movie list. With a great plot involving Duke reading a 1940's story from his notebook to a fellow friend and the inside story about a carnival and a couple, The Netbook couldn't be better with any other crew. The Notebook cast features Ryan Gosling, Tim Ivey, Rachel McAdams, James Garner, Sam Shepard, Joan Allen and Ed Grady. Ryan Gosling, known as Hercules from the "Young Hercules" TV series (which aired between 1998 and 1999), The Believer, Murder by numbers, Stay or 2007's Fracture plays the role of young Noah Calhoun and yeah, he does a great job and really seems to enjoy his character. Rachel McAdams, the girl from Mean Girls and the hot chick from Sherlock Holmes (2009) plays an important role in the Notebook cast. She is Allie Hamilton, a character the perfectly suits Rachel McAdams and the perfect combination leads to great acts involving Rachel's character Allie. The Notebook cast has a such big number of actors that it can get tricky to speak about each one but from all of them stands out James Garner. How can he not be great? His first movie was aired in 1956 and since then he was casted in other 93 movies. Now that's a huge career and we should all appreciate him. But after you see his character (Duke) in The Notebook you'll simply be amazed. James Garner can make simple words seem like the most compelling phrase ever. Another actor from the notebook cast with a great history behind her is Gen Rowlands. She featured in "just" 105 sequels and is one of the most prolific actrice ever. She's the one who plays the controversial role of Allie Calhoun and she shown all of os she's not done yet even after a long 55 years career in acting. Ed Grady filmed back in 2004 his last film and the notebook cast really made him look young and still able to act in complicated and complex roles. I already said the notebook cast was huge and because I can't speak about every single actor in the crew, I should at least name them: Startletta DuPois, Jennifer Echols, Kevin Connolly, Andrew Schaff, David Thornton, Cullen Moss, Sandra W. van Natta, Sylvia Jeffries and Elizabeth Bond. The Notebook cast was simply amazing and because the screenplay was good a great movie came out after the hard work these people did. |

Notebook Quote
Have you seen a movie called the notebook? If you are a woman, born in the last 25 years - and, mind you, obviously one of them women, born inside those years, who HAS seen the movie - you probably gasped; or something equally resembling finding the movie to be likeable. And, actually, as a guy I find it awesome. I really do. If it's because of the main character's beauty - which, actually, I really don't think it ENTIRELY is - or if it's the romantic atmosphere, of the movie, I don't know. If ...
