The Wacom tablet, is like your mouse or touch-pad, you can use the pen to write on your tablet and it will show in the Whiteboard in your screen.
For very small amount of money, for as less than 50 $ It gives much higher precision and allows faster and more natural drawing and writing.
You will need to get used it, but the learning curve is very steep, and within short practice time you will get used to it.
